Conference Hightlights: =============================================

1). In addition to the Book of Abstract, the SPC2011 Conference Proceedings (full paper in a CD format) will be available at the beginning of the conference (March 23, 2011). Also, the author will have an option to submit their work to the Thai Journal of Physics (TPS journal).

2). In addition to physicists, this year we welcome paper contributions from engineers, technologists, scientists, and those who are interested in physics from a variety of fields (covering both basic and applied physics research). We want to create dynamic research and development networks in which knowledge and experiences can be shared, under the conference theme: "Physics for all, all for physics."

3). A limited number of Student Scholarships (covering registration fees and hotel expenses) will be available. Interested students, who are presenting their oral presentations and are in financial needs, are encouraged to apply for the scholarship following the instruction on the conference website. Selected applicants will receive waivers for their registration fees and hotel expenses.

4). Awards. A limited number of awards will be given to outstanding student poster and oral presentations. The number of awards will depend on the number of submissions. The ceremony will be held towards the conclusion of the conference.

5). Affordable accommodation. We have received a great hotel deal from the Ambassador City Jomtien hotel. The room rates only range from 700 baht to 1600 baht per room (single/double bed) per night.

6). Affordable registration fees. The registration fee includes all scientific sessions of the congress, all conference materials, conference banquet, lunches and coffee breaks. The early registration fee is as low as 1,500 baht for students and 2,000 bath for TPS members.
